What exactly am I getting with this purchase?
With this purchase you will receive a compressed (.zip) file to download which contains a variety of audio and/or MIDI files. These royalty-free files can be used in your compositions, productions, and arrangements in any way you please. If you're looking for new creative ideas, lack piano/music theory skills, or don't have access to a keyboard, you can simply import these audio/MIDI clips into your DAW project files to get results quickly. See above to learn more about the specific genre, style, file count, etc.
How do MIDI/sample packs work?
If your download contains MIDI files, you can import the .midi clip into a MIDI/Instrument track in your favorite DAW and every note, chord, or MIDI event from each individual clip will be played through the instrument you have loaded on that track. For example, if you load Ableton's built-in synthesizer, Operator (or a VST synth like Xfer Record's Serum), you will hear the MIDI notes play through that synth. If your download contains audio files, you can simply import those files into audio tracks in your favorite DAW and start adding effects, chopping and re-sequencing the audio, etc.
What if I am unhappy with the MIDI/sample pack or do not use the files after all?
We only offer high-quality content and stand behind every sample pack that we sell. Since these are downloadable sample packs, all sales are final and non-refundable. You can click the preview buttons above to get a sense for the style and quality of each MIDI/sample pack.
Are these sample royalty free? What does royalty free mean?
Yes, these files are royalty free. Royalty free means that you can use these samples for pretty much anything you like. From adverts to jingles, system bangers to phone ring tones, you’re free to do whatever you like with them safe in the knowledge that you’ll never need to pay a royalty fee to anyone. All we ask is that you don’t re-sell these samples in a sample pack context - that you can’t do.
